A member of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Dr. Obinna Simon, popularly known as MC Tagwaye has advised Dr Umar Ardo to challenge what he calls ‘unpopular policies and programmes’ of President Tinubu’s government rather than dissipating energy disputing the manner in which NDC has been registered.
Mc Tagwaye was reacting to Dr Ardo’s vow to take legal action against NDC’s wrongful registration by INEC, while speaking to DCL Hausa correspondent in Abuja.
He accused Dr Ardo of meddling into the affairs that do not concern him, and expressed amazement as to why Dr Ardo is silent over the Federal Government’s excesses.
MC Tagwaye dismissed allegations that his support for Peter Obi has to do with his Igbo origin, arguing that he had joined NDC before the defection of Obi to the party.
The NDC member, who is of the opinion that all is not well with Nigeria, lamented that President Tinubu has failed to replicate what he did in Lagos as Nigeria’s President.
On the frequent defections by politicians from one party to another, MC Tagwaye said they are compelled to do so by the ruling party in order to decimate the opposition.
