The essence of the blessed day of Arafat is for Allah, the most High to raise the status of His obedient servants through forgiveness.
Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa disclosed this in an exclusive interview with DCL Hausa at the Holy land.
The cleric observed that pilgrims who stand on the holy Mount of Arafat are on equal footings regardless of economic, social or political status, adding that the day is reminiscent of the Judgement day.
Malam Daurawa explained that on this blessed day Allah asks His Angels why His servants gather on the Arafat Mount, whereupon they reply that they gather so that You (Allah) become pleased with them. Allah then asks the Angels to bear witness that He forgives them all.
Pilgrims, who spoke with DCL Hausa on the Arafat Mount, prayed for peace to reign in their respective states and countries.
